The Issues

I believe government should be accessible, responsible and responsive.

I’m running for Cleveland City Council in the new Ward 12 (Edgewater, Cudell, West Blvd. into Jefferson) for a safer and healthier Cleveland that respects and listens to citizen voices.

Safer.

We need to ramp up clear and obvious steps in support of the Consent Decree so that Cleveland becomes the model to be followed, including keeping and improving the Community Police Commission.

Healthier.

I believe we should prioritize addressing disproportionate workplace and healthcare inequities faced by Black Women in Cleveland, emphasize transit-oriented development, and build up Cleveland’s tree canopy.

Respected.

Our neighborhood is home to progressive, policy and nonprofit expertise: they should feel confident they’ll have an advocate on council that will seek and act on public comment.

Public Transit

"I believe investing in public transit should be high on Cleveland’s state and federal advocacy agendas, that we should continue to emphasize transit-oriented development."
